Brizes Park is one of the most anticipated projects from Propiteer Limited since it was acquired, and planning was submitted. We call it Propiteer’s “residential jewel in the crown” because, well, it’s absolutely stunning. On any given day you may see wild deer happily prancing through the beautiful 74-acre estate.
The estate’s main building is a Grade II Georgian listed mansion with an incredible history. Originally built in 1720, it’s had several remodels in the centuries following. Sir Winston Churchill frequently visited on weekend retreats, and part of its unique design means it has one of the country’s oldest recorded moated forts.
Now, with funding completed from PropFin, development and conversion is well underway. The site will see completion of 36 luxury homes, with 10 apartments in the main mansion building, and stables and classrooms on the grounds converted into private residences. The barn, to the northeast of the site, is to be converted into a substantial detached house complete with private woodland. New one and a half storey houses will sit upon the outside of the walled garden.
About Brentwood
The picturesque village adjacent to the estate boasts not just the quaint pubs associated with an affluent village but also Alec’s restaurant, a renowned choice of celebrities and sports personalities. The upmarket town of Brentwood boasts a large Sainsburys supermarket, designer shops, restaurants and the home of Essex’s most vibrant celebrity nightlife. For those who enjoy golf The Bentley, one of the UKs premier private member golf clubs, is on the doorstep.
As a commuter belt development, Brizes is perfectly located for the new Elizabeth Line which is soaring the prices of property within its catchment and continues to outperform property value increases every year. All other transport is equally well provisioned with the A12 and arterial M25 motorway links being only 10 minutes by car.
On completion, Brizes will arguably become one of the most exclusive, sought after places to live in Essex. Show homes open for pre-sale from September 2021.
See Brizes Park for yourself
We’re holding an open day at the site in September 2021 with refreshments and guided tours around the site. Invitations to follow for all Propiteer Capital PLC members who’d like to get up close and see Brizes Park for themselves.
